Louann Hotson has been a director of the company since its incorporation in July 1998. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen in London in 1980. Thereafter she worked for Marine Midland Bank on foreign exchange accounting and leasing. She joined Price Waterhouse in 1983 where she worked in the management consultancy division, specialising in the banking and securities industry. She became Chief Finance and Compliance Officer of a securities clearing company of BZW, part of the Barclays Bank group, in 1987. In 1990, she re-joined Price Waterhouse to work part-time on a project in the European Financial Services Group before beginning a career break later in 1991.

Anthony Hotson

Anthony Hotson has been a director of Methravia Limited since its incorporation in July 1998. He joined the Bank of England in 1978 and worked in the Economics Division, Governors’ Office and Money Markets Division. He was seconded to the Building Societies Commission as Assistant Commissioner during 1987. He subsequently worked for McKinsey & Company and then in the corporate finance division of S.G. Warburg. He was a director of S.G. Warburg & Co. Ltd. from 1992 to 1995 and subsequently Managing Director and head of Financial Institutions Group, UBS Warburg until 1998.

He is currently a non-executive director of Henderson Group plc and was Chairman of its subsidiary companies, London Life and Towry Law, until their sale.
